About the event

In this session, you will learn how to paint a kingfisher You will explore painting techniques such as creating texture and using unexpected colours to add interest to your painting and how to add movement. You will also learn what to leave out and how to be free with the brush. You will come away with a painting full of life.

This class is suitable for adults. No requirements for prior experience, this class is suitable for everyone, from absolute beginners to budding artists and hobbyists.

On a General Note:

Designed as an introduction to creative skills such as different painting techniques, our classes are relaxed and enjoyable offering a chance to learn a new skill, meet new people and have fun!

During each class you will receive step by step guidance by an established artist who will help you create your own artwork which you can then take home. All materials are included and we even do the cleaning up!

Ideal as a group activity with friends, for individuals looking to meet like-minded people or as a team building exercise for work colleagues, our classes are held in our gallery which offers a contemporary, stylish setting with comfortable seating for up to 12 people.

Duration of classes is 2 hours during which refreshments will be available.

Private Events are available for groups of between 8 and 12 people in varioius venues or on your premises. I also conduct private events in corporate venues with no limit on numbers.

Event Requests are considered for groups of 4 or more with over 4 weeks notice so that I have time to fill a minimum of 8 seats
