INSPIRATION 

The natural world has always fascinated me, the sheer diversity of species. The texture of fur, feather and skin is a never ending source of inspiration.

I'm tremendously influenced by how past artists have sought to represent the newly discovered wildlife of their time. I try to bring life to my work by allowing the medium to leave it's own mark, celebrating the brushstroke, not hiding it.
